Cris Pacheco truly came in and saved the day during my home buying process. After the original lender I had been working with unexpectedly abandoned the deal, I was stressed, overwhelmed, and honestly unsure if everything was going to fall apart. I’m truly impressed with the services provided by Cris and his team. I came to Cris first with my goal of cash out refinancing, however, I came with a lot of baggage (or challenges lol). We went the VA route and quickly the team started collecting documents and sending me applications. Then we hit a big WALL with the VA (which was no surprise). Rather than discouraging me, which is what another lender did 2 years ago (looking at you united Veteran loans) Cris offered alternative solutions. We went conventional with a slightly higher rate, but reasonable within my budget. Side note: Cris offers financial management classes, and offers budgeting tools as well. When we hit other speed bumps along the way, Cris and his team found SOLUTIONS! Our closing took a little longer, but like I said, I came with a lot of baggage. First off I’d like to say thank you to the team for sticking through the most difficult underwriting process ever witnessed. I called the team everyday for questions, answers, and updates. If they didn’t know an answer, they found it almost immediately. You know your team cares for you when the underwriters office says that only one person from the team can call them now. The team harassed the underwriter for expedited an expedited approval. The day I signed was the day I had to be fully moved out from my rental. If the team didn’t fight for me the way they did, I’d be homeless this very minute. This 3 month process was ridiculous, yes, but it’s over now and I can thank Mariana, Cris, Linda, and the rest of the Pacheco team for that.

A poor representative of the US Veteran and USC Trojan community. Cris referred me to a “trusted” credit repair company when I did business with him. After agreeing to pay $3,200, over six months passed, and the services promised never took place. Fortunately, this was easy to dispute and my money was returned. However, Cris’ referral retaliated by reporting false information to all three credit bureaus which resulted in all of my credit cards being closed and my bank account frozen.
